How to hook up a KKK Turbo?

My brothers friend is wanting to hook up a KKK Turbo with the # 5324 to his 82' Toyota Pickup and is wondering what all he needs to do it.

First, you need to make the intake system air tight!
Most carburetors do not take pressure well (they leak air out through the linkages). There are boxes that mount up to provide the seal. Then you have to get exhaust gases to the turbo charger, and then to the remainder of the exhaust system. Once this is done then the air system duct work must me made. Once the mounting points are known for the turbo charger, then a source of oil (and or coolant) must be found, and return points identified. Then the plumbing for these lines has to be routed. If an inter-cooler is to be used (highly recommended) this too will have to be fabricated.
Now for the fun part, finding out where to time the silly thing to get performance.
An option is to mount the carburetor to the turbo charger, and route the air into the intake manifold. This way a air box around the carburetor is not needed, but you can not use an inter-cooler and as a result boost pressures are limited. Also starting becomes a chore.
Good luck, I would have rather found a motor that was already turbo charged that matched the transmission, and changed the oil pans to mount FWD.
