How do I clean out the oil?
CBR900RR had a leaky O-ring in the intercooler,flooded the entire water system with heavy latte type oil.How do I go about cleaning(what to use)to remove all the oil residue from the cooling system components
Car shops sometimes get blown head gasket jobs with oil contaminated cooling systems- the cleanout is dish soap (cheap) or cooling system flush compound with a mild lye solution followed by second part mild acid. plain water flush twice after solutions then baking soda and water flush, then add antifreeze/coolant mix. T fitting for flush available at auto parts store to fit in coolant hose and connect garden hose to rinse.
